Day 1 - Circumnavigation 2025

Hi everyone, as day one of my 2025 Circumnavigation comes to a close it is time to provide my daily update. Today was uneventful as almost all of it was aboard a Hawaiian A330 on the longest domestic flight in the US from Boston to Honolulu. Coming in at just over 11 hours this will also be the longest flight of the trip.

Today is also very important in terms of staying on schedule with the time zone changes and it is important that I stay awake well into the evening which will make this close to a 24 hour day.

Tomorrow is probably the most miserable day of the trip with about 9 hours aboard a 737 from Honolulu to Fiji via Kiribati, but it is also one of the legs I’m looking forward to the most since it is a unique routing.
