Day 5 - Circumnavigation 2025

Hello from Sydney for the last time as tomorrow I head out to Darwin Australia. Today's update will be shorter than normal as it was a pretty uneventful day as I mainly used to catch up on some work and sightseeing. After a relaxing morning and afternoon I ventured out for a walk around the city.

This time instead of taking the ferry to Circular Quay I decided to trace the outline of the main peninsula. This was quite the walk, but well worth it as I was able to reach the eastern point, looking directly at the Opera House as the sun was setting. After this I continued my walk through a park and eventually made it back into the city.

I was able to watch a drone show from my room, it was ok, nothing crazy and I wasn’t really able to get any great photos.

Tomorrow (Sunday) I leave for Darwin before continuing on to Singapore the next day. I’ve been going to bed pretty early (about 8 or 9 pm), but tomorrow my flight leaves at 8:30 pm and is four and a half hours long so I can’t say I’m looking forward to that, but I definitely am looking forward to getting back in the air.
